Pennonia Róka Koma (Fox Friend) is a bright orange-red with low shading. It dries in 20 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Pennonia is a Hungarian company.
Pennonia Róka Koma is inspired the sly fox from folktales. The Hungarian Folktale Cartoons, is something that every Hungarian is familiar with and Máté, the maker of Pennonia inks, loves all of them where “Róka Koma” is a generic name for a lovable, sly fox who tries to trick other animals but in the end things turn around and he is the one who gets tricked. He appears in folk and children tales and bedtime stories (i.e. Máté's grandpa used to make up stories on the spot).
There’s also a famous Hungarian novel and cartoon called “Vuk” about a little fox so it’s safe to say that Hungarians like their foxes!
